SOURCES & METHODOLOGY
Sources, scope, and methods.
What is indexed, what is missing, and how each statistic is calculated.
1056 driver names have scored or classified records from 108 imported events. Many regional and historical results remain unindexed. A missing result does not mean a driver did not compete.
SOURCE EXPANSION · SEPTEMBER 8, 2026
More paddocks, with the evidence attached
22 additional events · 588 result entries. These results contribute to driver histories, F1 points and statistical class rankings. Milwaukee and Southern West Virginia are available in region filters.
Imported from SCCA sources
- Milwaukee Region’s results archive: published class sheets from 2018–2019 and 2023–2024. Dates follow the timing sheet where the index differs; missing car or venue details stay blank.
- SCCA’s national and divisional archive: the 2025 Great Lakes Divisional Challenge, hosted by Southern West Virginia. Its combined results count as one meeting, not separate inferred rounds.
Entry counts and class counts were checked. Complete numeric rows reconcile to published totals including penalty notation; DNF, DNS, OFF, BROKE and clipped annotations remain as printed. These exports list raw runs separately from penalty-adjusted totals.
Still awaiting verification
- Milwaukee result sheet: RX4-081824.pdf — withheld because its timing data needs review.
- Nebraska’s historical results and Susquehanna’s current results are additional sources located for future imports.
Facebook groups
The SCCA-linked RallyCross group returned an access/rate-limit page, and the Huntsville group could not be read through public access. No new Facebook-only results were imported in this update. A post, registration or group membership never counts as a race finish.
Motorsport.com and professional rallycross
World RX qualifying classifications and race finals are available. They are not yet indexed here: heat points, semifinals, finals and lap counts need a separate series model. A six-car final is not the complete event field, and professional results must not create SCCA starts or rankings.
This remains a growing archive. These discoveries do not establish complete coverage of every RallyCross driver.
How to read the stats
Recorded starts, wins and podiums
Starts count indexed event/class entries. A win is a published first place in class with a numeric scored total; a podium is a scored top-three class finish. These are archive totals, not lifetime or championship points.
Head-to-head means shared ground
We calculate a time gap only for the same event and class, with numeric published totals and equal recorded run counts. Courses, surfaces, weather, and run counts differ between events. Summary statistics describe a sample; they are not a national driver rating.
The official result comes first
Scored run times already include penalties. Finishing-position sum adds scored class positions (P1 + P3 = 4); it depends on starts and is not a ranking. Rates use entries with numeric scored totals. We preserve DNF, DNS, and “No Time” records without inventing missing run times. A trophy symbol reflects the published trophy marker, which is not the same as a podium.
F1-style points
The F1 Grand Prix points scale is applied to each published class finish: P1–P10 receive 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1. Lower positions and entries without a numeric scored total earn zero. A solo class winner earns 25. Pace, field size and event level do not change points. There are no fastest-lap bonuses, sprint points or dropped rounds.
Filter by season, organizing region, class, or any combination. Nationals have their own event pool. All classes combines class scores; finishes are never re-ranked across classes. Totals and points per event describe the indexed sample. This is a comparison system, separate from the organizer’s published championship; it assigns no eligibility, tie-break or official champion.
Season points
Points follow the published regional table. The 2025 Tennessee Valley archive includes all 11 round columns and the published two-drop totals. Cumulative charts show gross points before drops. We do not infer membership eligibility, tie-breaks or an official champion. The table’s scoring-note footer says 2024 in error; the heading and publication metadata identify 2025. This scheme is not automatically applied to 2026 or other regions. Central Florida points use its official 2025 and June 12, 2026 snapshots. Null round cells remain blank, and source ranks are shown only when published.
Regions and how we read them
Timing sheets print the competitor’s SCCA region in a narrow fixed-width column, so the archive is full of names cut mid-word: “Washingt”, “Milwauke”, “Northeast O”, “Kansas C”. Each printed value is matched against a registry of real SCCA regions. An unambiguous prefix is expanded and labelled as expanded. Where several registered regions fit the surviving characters the value is left ambiguous and shown as printed, never guessed. “Tennessee” is the clearest case: it is both the Tennessee Region and Tennessee Valley cut to nine characters.
A driver’s home region uses the membership region printed beside their name on a National entry list, because regional sheets print the organiser’s own name in that column instead. When that printed value is ambiguous it is settled only if the driver enters events run by exactly one of the candidate regions, which is evidence rather than a guess. A driver with no National start is shown by the region whose events they enter, and the basis is stated on their profile. Someone whose membership region is not the one running the event is marked as an out-of-region entry.
MotorsportReg photos and connections
498 drivers have a corroborated public MotorsportReg entry match; 277 have a published profile photo. Matches require an exact normalized name plus matching event, class and car number, or other supporting vehicle and hometown evidence. Conflicting account identities stay unlinked. Public entry lists do not provide a driver-written biography or a public account-profile link, so About panels summarize sourced racing records and link to the entry list. Registration cars are shown separately from final-result car histories. Missing photos use initials.
Driver identity and discipline
Profiles group matching normalized full names. Nicknames, spelling variations, or namesakes may create separate or ambiguous records. Namesakes require organizer verification before merging. Connor Martell redirects in search to Conner Martell; his professional racing is not counted as SCCA RallyCross.
Run times and penalties
Timing exports do not agree on what a printed run time means. Tennessee Valley and Central Florida print scored values that already include cone and gate penalties, so their runs sum to the published total. The Kansas City 2024 AXWare export prints raw run times and applies penalties only to the total. Those events are stored with a raw basis and are never reconciled against their total, and no penalty is redistributed back into a run. The 2026 Kansas City pages carry the timing system’s own unofficial-results banner; that flag travels with the event.
Source limitations
Regional labels may identify the organizing region where member-region details are absent. Some regions are clipped in the original timing PDFs and appear as printed. The 2025 Nationals PDF has an incorrect date header; the event dates follow SCCA’s event listing. Supplemental two-run 2021 entries are excluded from main competition statistics.

Published-source snapshots
Imports are reviewed snapshots. This site does not claim a live timing feed or automatic nationwide synchronization. Newly published results need a source import before they appear.
Independent community project
AXËL MotorPoints is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official service of the Sports Car Club of America. For official standings and eligibility, refer to the organising region linked on every event. For anything wrong here, use the request form above and we will fix it.
Privacy, and how to have your details removed
Driver profiles are built from competition records the organising clubs published themselves, plus public MotorsportReg entry lists. This site is public, so those pages can be found by search engines. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics profiles and no account forms, and downloads are created on your device.
If you are in this archive and would rather not be, you can ask for your profile, your photo or your hometown to be taken down, and it will be. You do not have to explain why. Requests are read by hand and removals are actioned before anything else. The same form takes corrections, and results from events this archive has missed.
The only thing this site stores about a visitor is a request you choose to send: your name, your email and your message, kept so the request can be answered, never shown on the site and never passed to anyone else.
